About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at Kenny Enterprises Limited. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, calculate total payment, and provide change to customers.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean the Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves and cleaning the counter area.
  • Participate in Promotional Activities: Participate in sales promotions, discounts, and other in-store events to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Verify Age for Restricted Products: Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Setting: Confectionery/corner store environment.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Familiarity with electronic cash registers, Interac machines, and price scanners.
  • Security and Safety: Bondable and able to pass a criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling.
