Artistic Director for Youth Performance Company

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Artistic Director to lead our Youth Performance Company in Oakville.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a creative vision for our performances, ensuring alignment with our organization's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular dance classes, rehearsals, and seminars, providing technical instruction, mentorship, and feedback to students.
- Prepare the Youth Performance Company for various performances, competitions, and showcases, ensuring they are well-prepared and confident on stage.
- Collaborate with other dance instructors and choreographers and staff to foster a well-rounded dance education for our students.
- Maintain open and clear communication with parents and guardians regarding students' progress, schedules, and performance opportunities.
- Contribute to the development and expansion of our Youth Performance Company dance programs, including the creation of new classes and workshops.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during rehearsals and performances, while also maintaining a respectful and disciplined dance environment.
