Artistic Director for Youth Performance Company

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Artistic Director to lead our Oakville Youth Performance Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a creative vision for our performances, ensuring alignment with our organization's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive dance education program for youth aged 12-17
- Conduct regular dance classes, rehearsals, and seminars, providing technical instruction, mentorship, and feedback to students
- Prepare the Youth Performance Company for various performances, competitions, and showcases, ensuring they are well-prepared and confident on stage
- Collaborate with other dance instructors and choreographers to foster a well-rounded dance education for our students
- Maintain open and clear communication with parents and guardians regarding students' progress, schedules, and performance opportunities
- Contribute to the development and expansion of our Youth Performance Company dance programs, including the creation of new classes and workshops
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during rehearsals and performances, while maintaining a respectful and disciplined dance environment
