Key Responsibilities:

Auto Body Repair:

  • Align and restore vehicle components to manufacturer specifications
  • Remove and replace sheet metal, glass, and aesthetic parts
  • Apply filler and sand to restore original shapes
  • Document repairs with photographs
  • Conduct polishing and reassembly tasks

Repair Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the Repair Planner to review vehicle repairs
  • Ensure accurate parts verification and organization
  • Disassemble vehicles and inspect received components
  • Record repairs using the designated application

Parts Management:

  • Verify parts for accuracy and report any discrepancies
  • Install all ordered components and utilize all parts effectively
  • Dispose of used parts post-reassembly

Quality Assurance:

  • Identify and report any inconsistencies or additional damage
  • Conduct audits of body work prior to preparation
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills

Workplace Cleanliness:

  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area and shop as assigned
  • Engage in a weekly cleaning initiative
  • Properly dispose of waste and recyclables

Health & Safety:

  • Ensure tools are in good working condition
  • Follow safety protocols and company policies
  • Keep a tidy and organized workspace

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid G driver's license
  • Experience or training in automotive collision repair

Preferred Specialized Training:

  • I-CAR and ASE Certification
  • Certification in Auto Body and Collision Damage Repair

Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changes
