About the Role

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to vulnerable populations in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of patients, including developing and implementing treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies as needed, in accordance with regulatory standards and employer policies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement population-based strategies for health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review to evaluate the effectiveness of services.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • 4 years of recent, relevant clinical nursing experience.
  • Successful completion of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).
