Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our Chemistry team in Kelowna, British Columbia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical and scientific results to our clients using the latest technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine testing duties within Chemistry and Hematology, including analyzer maintenance, calibration, QC, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure quality control standards are maintained, investigate missing samples, and perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment.
  • Record, interpret, and/or approve test results.
  • Carry a CSMLS Registration as a practicing Medical Laboratory Technologist in good standing.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook at an intermediate level.
  • Solid ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
Requirements
  • Carry a CSMLS Registration as a practicing Medical Laboratory Technologist in good standing.

  • Nice to have: working experience in the Chemistry or Hematology field, knowledge and understanding of Diagnostic Accreditation standards.
Work Environment

Exposure to noise, chemicals, solvents, and bio-hazardous and radioactive materials. Shift work required.
