Laboratory Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Laboratory Assistant to join our team in Vancouver, BC. As a key member of our patient care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory services.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and interact with patients in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
- Perform phlebotomies, connect/disconnect holter monitors, and perform ECG tracings with precision and accuracy.
- Collect and process specimens for testing, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, test results, and other relevant data.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Completion of a recognized Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent experience in phlebotomy, intravenous infusion, and/or intravenous therapy.
- ECG training or experience is an asset.
- Proficient data entry skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on patient satisfaction and care.
