Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Activities
Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Train and Develop StaffTrain staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Estimate and Manage InventoryEstimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Ensure Quality ControlEnsure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Prepare Reports and SummariesPrepare food order summaries for the chef, and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
Requirements- Leadership and Supervision
Supervise a team of 3-4 people, including food and beverage servers, kitchen and food service helpers.
Work EnvironmentWork in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and maintaining a high level of energy and focus.
Personal QualitiesExhibit excellent oral communication skills, be a team player, and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
Experience- Experience Level
7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
Work SchedulePermanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week.
LanguageFluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
