Job Summary

The Site Supervisor is responsible for the daily supervision of sanitation lead persons and laborers in designated departments/areas of our customers' facilities. This role entails ensuring that our team is working safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory agency, customer, and PSSI policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct the work of sanitation lead persons and laborers by department/area of our customers' plants.
  • Apportion work assignments among the sanitation team.
  • Ensure sanitation team members work safely, efficiently, and in compliance with governmental, customer, and company policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate team members for the purpose of recommending promotions or other changes in status.
  • Ensure compliance with internal company procedures and policies, including Technical Services, Human Resources, Accounting, IT, and general customer service.
  • Assist in implementing PSSI training programs, including safety training and ERP.
  • Report and investigate all accidents.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, add and subtract.
  • Related sanitation experience.
  • General working knowledge of computers/technology (e.g., Microsoft Excel and Word).
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to work in work environments with extreme temperature fluctuations.
