We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team at Vertex Construction & Management Services. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to the desired color and texture, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
- Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure surfaces are in good condition.
- Painting and Decorating: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for painting and decorating projects, and plan and schedule work to ensure timely completion.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, advising consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings, and ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.
As a Painter with Vertex Construction & Management Services, you will work in a variety of locations, including residential and commercial properties. You will be required to work at heights, and may be exposed to dust, fumes, and other hazardous materials.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in painting and decorating.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
