Job Title: Pastry Cook

Hakka Garden is seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as planning menus and estimating food requirements for their realization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate special events and plan menus to meet customer demands
  • Prepare and cook a variety of baked goods and desserts, including cakes, pastries, and other sweet treats
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient food production
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment with 30 to 35 hours per week
  • Fluency in English
