Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at BC LTD DBA DAIRY QUEEN. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry and replace linens, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for our customers.
  • Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, and flatware, as well as kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, maintaining a tidy and organized dining area.
  • Load buspans and trays with clean dishes and utensils, ensuring efficient service.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Place dishes in storage areas, ensuring they are clean and ready for use.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, such as toast and coffee, to meet customer demands.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, ensuring a fresh and appealing selection of food and beverages.
  • Take customers' orders, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring accurate orders.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring efficient inventory management.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
Requirements:
  • Fast-paced environment with ability to work under pressure.
  • Standing for extended periods, with ability to lift and move objects as needed.
  • Positive attitude, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Will train, with opportunity for career growth and development.
  • Permanent employment, with 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency, with ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
