Job Title: Construction Site Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at Homelife Construction Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Construction Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams, including bricklayers, cement finishers, tilesetters, painters and decorators, floor covering installers, plasterers, drywall installers and finishers, fence erectors, trades helpers, and labourers.
  • Prepare and submit production and other reports as required.
  • Estimate costs and materials, and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
  • Set up machines and equipment, and ensure they are properly maintained.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Supervise and instruct individuals to ensure they are working safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a construction supervisory role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
