Job Title: Construction Site Supervisor

LCS Construction Solutions Inc. is seeking a skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate: Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Recruit and Train: Recruit and train new staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Estimate and Manage: Estimate costs and materials, and manage the procurement of equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the work site is a safe and healthy environment for all employees.
  • Recommend Personnel Actions: Recommend personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, or disciplinary actions, as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
  • Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
  • Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
Support for Youths:
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth.
