Logistics Manager Job Description

Pantos Logistics Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the logistics and transportation of goods, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and develop a team of logistics professionals to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Manage Finances and Budget: Oversee the financial aspects of logistics operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Ensure Transport Compliance: Ensure that all transportation activities are in compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Establish Policies and Standards: Develop and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods, ensuring consistency and quality across all operations.
  • Oversee Scheduling and Dispatching: Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Plan and Direct Operations: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily logistics operations to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
