Position Overview

The role of a Wood Products Inspector at MDL Door Systems involves ensuring the quality and integrity of wood products through meticulous inspection and evaluation.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble components such as door panels, trusses, or modular units for prefabricated housing.
  • Prepare items for distribution and shipping.
  • Enhance assembled products with supports like dowelling.
  • Install essential hardware including knobs and hinges.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of wood products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Identify and mark defective items for necessary repairs.
  • Refine surfaces through trimming, smoothing, and shaping.
  • Perform minor adjustments and repairs as needed.
