About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Wood Products Inspector - Assembler to join our team at MDL Door Systems. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting wood products to ensure they meet our high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Inspection: Assemble door panels, trusses, and modular components to make prefabricated housing, and inspect wood products for conformance to quality standards.
  • Packaging and Shipping: Pack items for shipping and distribution, ensuring they are properly secured and labeled.
  • Quality Control: Reinforce assembled products with dowelling or other supports, and install hardware such as knobs and hinges.
  • Defect Identification: Mark defective parts or products for repair, and make minor adjustments and repairs as needed.
  • Surface Preparation: Trim, smooth, and shape surfaces to ensure a high-quality finish.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and physical stamina. You will be required to bend, crouch, and kneel regularly.
