Job Title: General Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled General Supervisor to join our team at Kaizen Renovations Corp. as a key member of our operations team.

Job Summary

The General Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recommend measures to improve productivity and efficiency in our construction projects.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Supervise workers and projects, ensuring that they are completed safely and to the required standards.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities, including the management of materials and equipment.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure that our team members have the necessary skills to complete their tasks effectively.
  • Set up equipment and ensure that it is properly maintained.
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed, and that our team members are aware of their responsibilities in this regard.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules, including the management of deadlines and milestones.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to ensure that our projects are completed accurately and to the required standards.
  • Requisition materials and supplies, and ensure that they are delivered to the correct location.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
Work Environment
  • On the road job.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
