About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Drafting Specialist to join our team at Concord Glazing Systems. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed engineering designs and drawings, developing design sketches, and preparing construction specifications, costs, and material estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Drafting: Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings, and develop design sketches to meet project requirements.
  • Specifications and Estimates: Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates to ensure accurate project planning and execution.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Complete documentation packages and drawing sets, and write technical reports to communicate project progress and results.
  • Quality Control: Examine drawings for conformity and errors to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaboration: Consult with client, engineers, or production specialists to establish product requirements and ensure effective project execution.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced design environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting project deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, architecture, or design.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drafting, design, or a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week.
