Job Summary

Invest Ontario is seeking a seasoned Chief Executive Officer to lead our efforts in attracting high-value investments to the province. As the CEO, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating potential investors, providing executive investor services, and developing investment strategies that align with the government's economic development priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement investment strategies that drive economic growth and job creation in Ontario
  • Build and maintain relationships with domestic and international investors, government officials, and other stakeholders
  • Provide executive investor services, including deal architecture and negotiation
  • Lead a team of investment professionals in identifying and pursuing investment opportunities
  • Collaborate with government agencies and other partners to ensure a seamless investment experience
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong track record of attracting high-value investments and driving economic growth
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Ontario's competitive advantages and the ability to translate them into sector-specific investment opportunities
  • Experience in deal architecture, negotiation, and execution
  • A passion for creating meaningful jobs and driving long-term economic growth
