Job Description:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Controller for a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension or permanence. The position will be based in Laval and Rive-Nord, working in a hybrid mode.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements and notes for the factory
- Responsible for the verification balance
- End-of-month and end-of-year process
- Responsible for factory and site expenses
- Control costs and ensure proper coding
- Inventory analysis
- Exchange rates
- Monthly reports
- Supervise personnel (3)
Requirements:
- CPA or in the process of obtaining CPA, or Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance, or equivalent experience
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or mining company is required
- Bilingual (reports are written in English, and the environment is French-speaking)
- Strong understanding of the complete accounting cycle
- Experience in manufacturing and/or metal extraction
- Advanced Excel skills (no macros)
- Knowledge of an ERP or SAGE system
