The Technician IV - Plumber is a critical role at BGIS, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities' plumbing systems. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced plumber to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation & Troubleshooting:
    • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing to ensure optimal performance.
    • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to map plumbing systems in buildings, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
    • Install, replace, and repair valves, pumps, and fixtures, testing pipes for leaks and issues.
  • Maintenance:
    • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure facility uptime.
    • Respond to service requests and implement preventative maintenance programs to maintain facility systems.
  • Client Relations:
    • Provide recommendations for facility improvements to enhance the overall experience.
    • Assist with facility-related projects, ensuring seamless execution.

Licenses & Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a licensed Plumber, with a strong understanding of facility operation processes.
  • Ability to adhere to safety and building codes, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex plumbing issues.
