Key Responsibilities:- Lead internal and external teams in applying value-engineering principles to drive business growth and efficiency.
- Provide financial expertise and strategic guidance to support the development of the divisional strategic and financial business plan.
- Establish project management systems to plan and control construction budgets and timelines.
- Develop and implement long-term build-out plans for future projects.
- Lead site selection evaluations in rural municipalities and work with planning and engineering teams to create efficient water and sewer services solutions.
- Help select civil contractors and monitor site progress to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement product development strategies for multi-res, modular, and stick-built homes to reduce costs and time to construct.
- Determine human resource requirements for the division and develop a plan to implement.
- Provide financial and budget expertise at all levels.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in project management and estimating.
- A degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- MBA or business education is preferred but not required.
- Experience in leading and managing a business or a division with P/L responsibility.
- Strong financial understanding and analytical way of thinking.
- Entrepreneurial in spirit, with a self-starter mentality and a drive to succeed.
- Technical background in land development and/or building construction.
- Naturally strong interpersonal skills, with a professional, hands-on, and humble style.
