About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Healthcare Assistant at The Good Samaritan Society. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Meal Service: Serve meal trays and assist patients with eating and drinking.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain patients' rooms and common areas, including making beds and changing linens.
  • Transportation: Safely transport patients between care facilities and within the facility.
  • Medical Support: Administer first aid in emergency situations and assist with basic medical procedures.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills.
