About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at JnB Homecare Services Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support in a home care setting
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Help patients with mobility and transfer needs, including walking, standing, and lifting
  • Administer medications and perform other medical tasks as required
  • Prepare and serve meals, and assist with feeding patients
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, including laundry and housekeeping duties
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Document patient progress and report any concerns or issues
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a healthcare assistant training program or equivalent experience
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for extended periods
