Medical Oncologist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at the Vernon Clinic, located in the beautiful Southern Interior Region of British Columbia.
About the RoleAs a Medical Oncologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, participating in clinical, educational, and research activities, and working collaboratively with a well-established team of medical oncologists, GP oncologists, and allied health professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical care to patients with cancer, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
- Participate in educational activities, such as teaching and mentoring
- Contribute to research activities, including clinical trials and studies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine, along with a certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology
- Eligibility for appointment to medical staff of BC Cancer and Vernon Jubilee Hospital
- Eligibility for a clinical appointment to the University of British Columbia, Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine
