Qualifications- Education: College or CEGEP diploma
- Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role or equivalent experience
This position is based in a rural setting, offering a unique work atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities- Calculate and prepare payroll cheques
- Assess fixed assets and manage depreciation
- Maintain and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Post journal entries accurately
- Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports
- Prepare tax returns
- Compile trial balances
- Reconcile accounts regularly
The ideal candidate should be proficient in:
- Inventory control software
- MS Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Windows, Word
- QuickBooks
- MS Office Suite
Candidate must have their own transportation.
