About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Metal Cleaning Equipment Operator to join our team at Ideal Coatings & Fabrication Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our metal cleaning equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Metal Cleaning Equipment: Safely and effectively operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Transport Items: Transport items throughout the plant using powered equipment, ensuring timely and efficient movement of materials.
  • Clean Machines and Work Areas: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Load and Unload Vehicles: Load and unload vehicles with raw materials, finished products, and equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
Work Environment

As a Metal Cleaning Equipment Operator, you will work in a fast-paced industrial environment with exposure to dust, heat, and noise. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but relevant training and experience are essential.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn new skills is a must.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
