About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Collection/Analytical Specialist to join our team at ECF Data, LLC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret complex data sets, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports to stakeholders
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and data analytics strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain databases/data systems to ensure data integrity and accuracy
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in large data sets to inform business decisions
  • Filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
  • Collaborate with management to prioritize business and information needs, and identify opportunities for process improvement
Requirements
  • Proven working experience in data collection and analysis, with a strong understanding of data models, database design development, and data mining techniques
  • Technical expertise in statistical packages (Excel, SPSS, SAS), reporting packages (Business Objects), and databases (SQL)
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of and experience with programming languages (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
  • BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or equivalent work experience
