Director of Operations Research

CAE Flight Services is a leading provider of flight operations and optimization digital solutions. We empower aviation professionals with the data needed to make informed decisions and take control of critical tasks.
As a Director of Operations Research, you will lead an international team specializing in optimization services. You will provide support during all phases of a product lifecycle, from sales demonstrations to after-sales service.
Key Responsibilities- Work with customers and internal stakeholders to understand the logic and requirements of airline operations.
- Offer creative solutions to recognize improvement opportunities.
- Provide third-level support and training courses to customers.
- Be responsible for technical and team leadership through coaching and mentorship.
- Maintain high standards of software quality within the team.
- Master's degree (or higher) in Operations Research, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, or similar field.
- Experience with leading an international team is a strong asset.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in building solutions based on mathematical programming models.
- Strong knowledge of mathematical programming models such as LP/IP, network flow, graph theory, column generation, branch and bound, and large-scale optimization.
- Strong knowledge of C++ (11+), object-oriented programming/design principles, and patterns.
- Strong experience in enterprise software development and maintenance.
