Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll and Accounting Specialist to join our team at our Burnaby Head Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing semi-monthly payroll, tracking sales and calculating commission, and ensuring timely payroll, WCB, and related remittance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Process semi-monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Sales and Commission Tracking: Track sales and calculate commission for our team members.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and update monthly internal reports for cost control.
  • HR and Accounting Policies: Maintain and update HR and accounting policies and filing system.
  • Asset Inventory Management: Manage asset inventory and ensure accurate records.
  • Project Budgeting: Monitor project budget and cost, ensuring adherence to financial plans.
Requirements
  • Education: 2-year accounting diploma, with a payroll certificate preferred.
  • Experience: 1 year of payroll and/or accounting experience.
  • Skills: Excellent data analytical skills, attention to detail, proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks.
  • Language: Proficient in English communication, with Mandarin speaking skills a must.
