Job Summary:

Mystic is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishware Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our dish area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Dishwashers Efficiently: Ensure that all dishwashers are running smoothly and efficiently, with minimal downtime.
  • Wash and Polish Dishware: Wash and polish all glassware, plates, and flatware to a high standard, ensuring that they are sparkling clean and free of any residue.
  • Clean and Sanitize Equipment: Clean and sanitize all dish equipment, including dishwasher mats, dish carts, and dish racks, to maintain a hygienic environment.
  • Assist with Supply Management: Assist in receiving and stocking supplies, ensuring that our dish area is always well-stocked and ready for service.
  • General Maintenance: Perform general maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and garbage removal, to maintain a clean and organized dish area.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience working in a dishwasher role or similar environment is an asset.
  • Attention to Detail: A high level of attention to detail is required to ensure that all dishware is cleaned and polished to a high standard.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: The ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment is essential.
  • Self-Motivation: A self-motivated individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are required to manage the dish area efficiently.
