The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled 2D Artist/Animator to join our team. As a key member of our art department, you will be responsible for creating game-ready assets for our flagship products. Your expertise in 2D animation and art will help us bring our games to life and provide an exceptional experience for our players.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and create high-quality 2D assets, including characters, props, icons, logos, menus, and backgrounds, that meet our art style and design guidelines.
  • Develop engaging 2D animations that bring our games to life and enhance the player experience.
  • Collaborate with our art team to ensure consistency and quality in our game assets.
  • Work closely with our production, live operations, and product teams to ensure that our games meet the required standards.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in creating 2D game art, preferably in the social/mobile gaming space.
  • 2+ years of experience in 2D animation.
  • B.A. or B.F.A in design, multimedia, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Animate CC, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Proven track record of creating appealing, high-quality characters, props, and environments.
  • Experience taking features from concept to final in-game art.
  • Strong background in multiple 2D disciplines.
  • Understanding of the principles of animation.
  • Experience creating character animation.
  • Solid understanding of perspective, composition, character design, color theory, visual effects, and lighting.
  • Experience with photo manipulation.
  • Strong knowledge of the game development process.
  • Task-driven, self-motivated, and proactive.
Preferred Qualifications
  • F2P game experience.
  • Demonstrated aptitude in creating isometric art in a photo-realistic style.
  • Knowledge or interest in utilizing A.I. as a tool for ideation and supplementing artistic skill.
  • Working knowledge of Blender.
  • Experience with rigging 3D character models for animation.
  • Experience with Confluence and Jira.
