- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring that food is prepared and presented to the highest standards
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and excess inventory
- Hire and train new food service staff to ensure a high-performing team
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback to inform business decisions
- Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure seamless kitchen operations
- Safe Food Handling certificate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and customer needs
- Dependability and initiative to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities
- Night shift premium
