Job Summary

Spectrum Health Care is seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists to develop and implement individualized programs for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to design and implement therapy programs for clients.
  • Provide therapy sessions, including exercises for seniors at risk of falling, as instructed by the Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist.
  • Attend client-related meetings to report on assessment findings and discuss intervention plans.
  • Implement treatment plans based on assessment, client input, and integrated care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and complete clinical records, adhering to established procedures and ensuring confidentiality.
Qualifications
  • Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Therapist Assistant or Physiotherapy Assistant Program from a recognized community college or equivalent.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and proprietary software.
  • Current police check for work with vulnerable sectors.
  • Valid G driver's license with third-party insurance coverage.
