  • At Physiotherapy Associates, we are seeking a Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of patient care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • The Physiotherapy Assistant will assist healthcare professionals with patient assessments, treatment programs, and other administrative tasks.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and be able to maintain accurate records.
  • Education
  • A college certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years is required.
  • Work Setting
  • Chronic or long-term care facilities/centres are preferred.
  • The successful candidate will be willing to relocate and have a valid CPR certificate and First Aid certificate.
  • Tasks
  • Assess patients' physical abilities and administer evaluative tests and procedures.
  • Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, and maintain cleanliness of collection areas.
  • Personal Suitability
  • Punctuality, client focus, and efficient interpersonal skills are essential.
  • The successful candidate will have a strong judgment and be able to work in a team environment.
