About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team at AA Property Management. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and integrating website-related code, developing website architecture, and maintaining existing computer programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and integrate website-related code, develop website architecture, and create and optimize content for the website using various graphics, database, animation, and other software.
  • Technical Support: Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required, conduct tests, and perform security and quality controls.
  • Communication: Communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions to stakeholders, and prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the IT team to ensure seamless integration of software systems and provide technical support as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in software development, preferably in a property management company.
  • Skills: Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, MySQL, GitHub, and MS Visual Studio Code (VS Code).
  • Work Environment: Ability to work under pressure, perform repetitive tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, excellent oral and written communication skills, team player, and accountability.
Working Conditions
  • Work Setting: Property management companies.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
