Description:
As a Radiation Therapist I, you will play a crucial role in delivering a prescribed course of radiation treatment to patients. You will work closely with a Radiation Oncologist to plan and execute treatment plans, ensuring the safe and accurate delivery of care. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient reactions to treatment, documenting treatment plans, and maintaining accurate patient records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver radiation treatment to patients according to prescribed plans
- Assist in the planning and execution of treatment plans
- Assess patient reactions to treatment and document treatment plans
- Maintain accurate patient records
Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited program in Radiation Therapy in Canada or an accredited non-Canadian program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT).
Preferred Qualifications:
Active or eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
