We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an International Education Support Specialist with Japanese Fluency. In this role, you will provide administrative support to our international education team, ensuring the smooth operation of our department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to international education staff, including processing student applications, registrations, and file information.
- Communicate with school staff, parents, students, and outside agencies to resolve inquiries and issues.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and databases using various software programs.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare correspondence, and compose non-routine letters.
- Reconcile accounts and expenditures, and balance daily department receipts or petty cash.
- Operate office equipment and perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
- Completion of Grade 12 plus one year of post-secondary training in a business or office program, supplemented with courses in accounting.
- Thorough knowledge and experience using email systems and Microsoft Office programs.
- Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in Japanese is required.
We offer a competitive salary of $32.99/hour, plus a 5% second language premium, and a comprehensive benefits package, including a municipal pension plan, extended health, dental, group life, long-term disability, vacation, and gratuity days.
