Payroll Team Lead

Holcim Participations (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Payroll Team Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Payroll team in providing a professional and responsive service in accordance with statutory regulations and company policies. They will collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior executives, administrative professionals, and operational employees. The Payroll Team Lead will ensure financial accuracy, provide strong governance, and ensure that trust in the Payroll function remains high. The position offers an exciting challenge with multiple pay runs, agreements, and sites adding to both the complexity and professional satisfaction. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated and outcome-orientated leader with significant End to End payroll processing experience within large, complex, and high-volume environments. They will have a proven track record of leading a team, managing competing demands, and prioritizing tasks effectively. The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of Industrial Awards/Enterprise Agreements, numerical accuracy, and advanced use of Excel. They will also have excellent time management skills and the ability to successfully prioritize competing demands. The Payroll Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing EOM (End of Month), including Superannuation, Payroll Tax, Third Party payments, and year-end activities. They will also ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environment (SHE) legislation and policies.
