Position Summary
The Production Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring efficient production processes and data analysis to enhance workflow across various manufacturing departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Production Coordinator Team Lead to develop and manage schedules for multiple departments, focusing on priorities and critical needs.
- Work alongside the Director of Operations to analyze data for forecasting raw materials, manpower, and planning requirements utilizing the Syteline ERP system.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to prepare and maintain the monthly Sales and Operations Plan (S&OP).
- Conduct daily planning cycles, including requirement reviews, analysis, and communication of job orders to production teams.
- Oversee daily scheduling cycles, ensuring schedules are created, updated, and posted effectively.
- Manage labor tracking and resolve any related issues, including labor transfers as necessary.
- Coordinate RMA processes with Customer Service Representatives and Supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Research and communicate parts statuses, lead times, and critical shortages using the ERP system.
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at launching new products and standardizing best practices.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
Working Environment
- Work is conducted in a production facility setting.
- Personal protective equipment, including steel-toed footwear, is required on the production floor.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education or certification from a recognized institution such as APICS/ASCM is preferred.
- A degree in a related field (Business, Materials Management, Operations Management) is advantageous.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday.
Education Requirement: Secondary School diploma is required.
Experience Requirement: Minimum of 1 year in production is required.
