Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Sand and grind fiberglass parts to achieve a smooth and even finish.
  • Precision Cutting: Cut parts precisely to achieve a uniform thickness.
  • Tool Operation: Use hand tools to trim, drill, route, and grind parts and surfaces.
  • Quality Control: Inspect parts for quality and accuracy.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
  • Tool Maintenance: Maintain hand tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints to complete parts according to specific dimensions.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience with sanding and grinding, especially on fiberglass, is an asset.
  • Skills: Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure all parts meet quality standards.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Strong skills in both areas.
  • Independence: Ability to work with minimal supervision.
