About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team at GALIAB & SONS FARMS. As a key member of our farm operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm workers and ensuring the smooth operation of our agricultural operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of farm workers and harvesting labourers to ensure efficient and effective crop production.
  • Crop Management: Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting to maintain high-quality crop yields.
  • Quality Control: Maintain quality control and production records to ensure compliance with industry standards and company regulations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed to protect the health and well-being of farm workers and the environment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed work records and logs to track farm activities and performance.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent in agriculture, horticulture, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in farm operations or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
