Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Fernie Alpine Resort. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe, comfortable, and friendly atmosphere for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and work with the Housekeeping team to provide exceptional service to our guests.
  • Provide training, leadership, and mentoring to the Housekeeping team to ensure they are aware of and engaged with our mission, purpose, and values.
  • Supervise and manage the Housekeeping team, including assigning responsibilities, conducting daily crew talks, and providing feedback and accountability.
  • Ensure the highest level of quality control and attention to detail in all aspects of housekeeping operations.
  • Prepare staffing schedules according to hotel occupancy and support the team in all aspects of the resort-wide Safety Management Program.
Requirements:
  • Previous success in a supervisory role is an asset.
  • Previous experience in hotel housekeeping is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Reliable and responsible with the ability to bend, lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.
