Job Summary

Le Petit Chef is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and service of food to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation

Direct and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff to ensure efficient and high-quality food service.

Train and Develop Staff

Provide training and guidance to staff members on job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.

Inventory Management

Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure adequate stock levels for meal preparation.

Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet our high standards of quality and consistency.

Assembly and Delivery

Supervise and inspect the assembly of food trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and accurate service.

Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at Le Petit Chef, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high expectations. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and walk frequently.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.

Experience

2-3 years of experience in a food service or culinary operations role.

Language

Fluency in English is required.
