Job Summary:

  • We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Industrial Firefighters, specializing in Oil and Gas Industry safety.
  • As a Fire Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for safely working with flammable products and participating in site safety meetings.
  • Our ideal candidate will have experience in standby fire protection for Frac and Completion Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe working environment by following Firemaster's safety policies and procedures, as well as Government and Industry regulations.
  • Operate company vehicles safely and maintain them in excellent working order.
  • Perform daily paperwork, including vehicle Pre-Trip Inspections, Safety Meeting Checklists, and ERP's.
  • Participate in and conduct site safety meetings and the planning of fire suppression in case of an event.
  • Provide and assist in standby fire protection for Frac and Completion Operations.

Requirements:

  • Class 3 driver's license preferred, but will consider employment with a minimum Class 5 with a clean Driver's Abstract.
  • Preferred 1001 certification.
  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Current Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive certification.
  • Current First Aid from Red Cross or St. John Ambulance.
  • Common Safety Orientation from Energy Safety Canada.
