About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at James Kuo-Chiang Cheng. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and companionship to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and watching movies.
  • Household Duties: Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Errands: Accompany clients on errands, such as grocery shopping and banking.
  • Exercise and Activity: Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, and engage in other activities that promote physical and mental well-being.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Will train, but previous experience in a care-related field is an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Urban area, working in the employer's/client's home.
