We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team at Hat's Restaurant. Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Journal Entry Preparation: Prepare and post journal entries to record financial transactions.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights and recommendations to management.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in MS Excel.
This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
