Job Title: Senior Bookkeeper

Mactavish & Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, data analysis software, and MS Excel.
