Key Responsibilities:- Determine Food Portion Sizes and Costs: Ensure accurate measurements and calculations for food preparation.
- Prepare and Cook Meals: Prepare complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to quality and safety standards.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, maintain inventory records, and ensure timely restocking.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas, wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Previous experience in food preparation an asset
- Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Physical Demands: Stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
